What is a GPA?

May 25, 2018

A Grade Point Average (GPA) is a calculated average of the grades that you earn at school. It can be calculated by single courses over time, for a group of courses (e.g., STEM), for a marking period, by school year, or for an entire high school career. The traditional GPA scale range is from 0.0 to 4.0.
